Founder
A professional pilot since 1999, Max Lemaire flew several iconic aircraft types, including the Caravelle SE‑210, and concluded his airline pilot career on the DC‑8‑62.
Alongside his flying career, Max served for more than fifteen years as Shareholder‑Manager and CEO of Transair Cargo Service, growing the company’s fleet to four DC‑8‑62 aircraft and establishing a wide operational network across the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Max brings this operational, commercial, and leadership experience to Rosae Aviation, which has been serving clients since 2015. In 2024, the company opened a strategically located warehouse and logistics centre in Belgium, enhancing parts handling, maintenance coordination, and distribution across EMEA.
Sales & business development manager
Robert Kemp began his aviation career as an apprentice at Fields Airmotive, gaining early hands‑on experience working on G1, DC‑6, and HS‑748 aircraft. He later joined Aircraft Rebuilders at Rand Airport, where he specialised in sheet‑metal repairs on fuselages and wings for small to medium‑sized aircraft.
He subsequently returned to Fields Airmotive (formerly Hunting Aviation) as Senior Stores Controller, responsible for procurement, sales, and inventory control of Rolls‑Royce, Gulfstream, HS‑748, and Fokker 27 spares, as well as aviation materials and consumables.
